I reused some old pallet wood that I had lying around for that long overdue project that I had planned. It started out  as a plant box but while I was laying the wooden slats on top to get the correct spacing I thought it actually makes for an interesting looking outside table.

I spotted pop can stoves on youtube a while back and I really liked the idea of making something from empty cool drink cans. This one runs on a mix of methylated spirits (70%) and water (30%) which stops the flame burning the bottom of your camping pot black. It does not stop you burning your fingers if you try and move it while it is burning though. I found that stretching the top can to fit over the bottom can can be quite tricky but with a little more practice I am sure that I will get better.

Finally close to completion my greenhouse is starting to look worthy of being photographed. There is still trim to be added and loads to do on the inside but I am pretty happy with how it is turning out. More importantly though my wife is happy and if you remember the golden rule 'Happy wife, happy life'. So the score is boys 1 girls 0.

It has almost exclusively been made from reclaimed materials, wooden pallets, planks and old windows.
